Simple is Good

I am back to my old theme for Grace Digest. Due to problems with the template, and reports that some readers are having difficulty reading the white against black text, I dumped the pretty template in favor of one that is pretty bare bones but is not problematic.

Soon I plan to start a series of posts on my favorite person and my favorite topic, Jesus Christ my Lord. The first will be titled “Jesus – The Way”.

Even though “short” does not fit me in any way, I do plan to try and follow John Dobb’s excellent suggestion given in the bloggers class in Tulsa, to make posts short and therefore easier to read.

  1. My brother said you were a lot taller in person than on the internet 😉

    Looking forward to your series.

And…I might add…. decidedly more handsome! LOL
I decided long ago that I have a face for radio!

  2. I’m looking forward to your series as well my brother.
It was great to meet you for a moment at the Workshop…I look forward to seeing you again…

Thanks Jamie. I hope to see you again too. Hopefully next year at the Workshop we can arrange for more time for bloggers and friends to just fellowship and visit.

    Take care,

  3. Any series focused on Jesus should be great. I look forward to it.

I too am going to make an effort to follow some of John’s advice on blogging for my site. Keeping it short is what I will find the most challenging. I have learned how to do it in my preaching, but still have yet to master it in my blogging.

Yep, it requires more though to be more brief and still make the intended points. Thanks for visiting Jason.

  4. I can’t wait for your lessons! Did I ever tell you I love your blog theme? Great to meet you in person. btw, they could be a little longer!

Thanks for your comments. The biggest reason I switched back to this more modest theme is that I discovered some older posts were not readible with the white text against black. Evidently some of the earlier black text posts did not change to white when the theme changed, a WordPress flaw. And, some people found it more difficult to see.

Brevity is in the eye of the beholder:)

  5. Brother Royce,
It was a pleasure to see you in Tulsa, may God bless your endeavors. Tell my cousin Phil Hello,

    Take care

Hey cuz’, I will be sure to tell him.
