It was said his preaching was so 'hard' that many could not handle it and left for other churches. It was then said with such obvious pride that his preaching was validated by the fact that some men were asked to be elders in other churches who were not worthy to be regular members at the preacher's congregation. After so many years, I am still amazed at how putting a legal noose around the necks of people is 'right and noble;' and, how tightening that noose is somehow Godly. (www.livingforjesus.com) This is interesting. The source of his material on his site is by the Bible Heritage Foundation and is excellent. It is not what I would have expected. My obedience, my good works, my love for Him and my love for those he loves is because I am saved, not the cause of my being saved.
