  1. “But whosoever shall say, thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.” Matthew 5:22

    So, you know, enjoy that.

Quoting from a book inspired by a the God you don’t believe exists? And, trying to make an absurd conclusion. Silly huh?

  2. The point is, you believe it. Or claim to.

So you’re either a hypocrite, or a liar.

I don’t know what your point is and I’m convinced you don’t either. Facts, logical thinking, and tens of millions of changed lives are all in opposition to your opposition to God.

If, that is a very big “IF”, you really want to know truth you can. But if you are content to go on in denial it’s your choice. Smart people choose truth no matter which side of an issue it falls on. I hope you will reconsider.

  3. Well the response from dih-dah man is to be expected.. Another great truth revealed, by inspiration, from a true believer..Thanks for keeping the truth alive Royce and proclaiming it boldly!! If only more were so bold as you..

Thanks Tim. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. I love you all

  4. “I don’t know what your point is and I’m convinced you don’t either.”

You call him a fool. He shows that you believe that calling people fools is wrong.

    “Facts, logical thinking”

    Socrates was a Christian?

“tens of millions of changed lives”

Obviously, you mean changed for the better. However, Islam, Buddism and other belief systems can claim the same thing. Heck, so can communimsm.

And, of course, this is a fallacy of consequences.

You have me confused with God, He inspired the Bible, I didn’t write it. I authored this blog post not the Bible.

Are you guys talking in some sort of code? I don’t get your point. Socrates? ..fallacy of consequences?

  5. “You call him a fool. He shows that you believe that calling people fools is wrong.”

If you read the whole chapter you will find that Jesus is talking of murder..

The whole verse will also help to understand what He is saying..

“But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgement. And whoever says to his brother, Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.” Matt 5:22

The first sentence of the verse helps to discern the rest of the verse.. If you say these things in anger (not love) then judgement will fall upon you..The exclamation point after the words will also give you a clue as to the interpretation of what He is saying..

    “Facts, logical thinking”

    Socrates was a Christian?

I did not read anywhere in the post about you having to be a Christian to state facts or think logically.. Or maybe you are saying only Socrates was capable of this??

Samuel if you truly want to understand what the bible is saying you need to have Him dwelling within you..With out the Holy Spirit you will not or can not understand fully..
